Big fly

steve Registered: April 2004 Posts: 451	Don't know what sort of fly this is , it was bigger than a wasp but didn't appear to have a sting and I had to rescue it from our conservatory. Any ideas?

Not sure about that one Steve, has the appearance of a Hornet, but the rear ens is wrong, as are the stripes.
